Food shopping convenience

Directly across the street from Elliott Landing is our very large Stop & Shop supermarket. Enjoy the convenience of a wide range of choices of grocery options right outside your door, from health food and organics to fresh produce and sea food. There is also a brand new Whole Foods presently under construction about eight minutes away at the Dunham Road exit off Route 128.

Beverly Golf & Tennis Club

Golf course and outdoor clay tennis courts

This public facility offers an exquisite 18-hole golf course and 10 outdoor clay tennis courts. The clubhouse is the focal point of the property, housing the 19th Hole Pub, the Great Room for special functions, and Fireside Rooms for smaller, more intimate events. This course was once the private course for employees of United Shoe Machinery Corp. The public dining room there is quite popular. The course entrance is about five blocks north of our parking garage on McKay Street.

Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant

Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant and Cantina serves authentic Mexican fare and drinks. The dining experience is built with friendly service, freshly prepared dishes, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Portions here tend to be good and fairly large.

Flip the Bird

Anthony & Torie own and operate Marino's Café in Beverly, MA and that's where the phenomenon of Fried Chicken Friday started. Located at the Cummings Center, Fried Chicken Fridays have grown so popular with locals that the sandwich deserved more time in the spotlight. Flip the Bird is a spin off of that amazing sandwich. We believe so much in it that we’ve built an entirely new concept from it!

Walking Trails

Enjoy the best walking trail in Beverly — a one-mile course which starts right at your front door. This lovely fully paved path circles Upper and Lower Shoe Ponds, never crosses a street, and is fairly flat. This fully paved walkway has about two dozen interpretive plaques along its length. There are quite a few walking trails elsewhere in town, including along the waterfront.

"Mall Walking"

Much more convenient than Mall Walking, many Elliott Landing residents have discovered walking the historic carpeted hallways of 100 and 800 Cummings Center. Use the pedestrian bridge from the third floor of your parking garage and enjoy dozens of important exhibits of United Shoe memorabilia.

This brand new in-patient rehab hospital is within Cummings Center and less than a 5-minute walk from Elliott Landing's front door. HealthSouth New England Rehabilitation Hospital at Beverly is located at 800 Cummings Center Unit 147-U. The 15,000-square foot inpatient 20-bed facility offers many patient comforts.

Healing Garden

Enjoy tranquil respites at the pondside healing garden. Leisurely stroll along color-splashed walking paths decorated with hanging flowering baskets and many other flowering features throughout. This healing garden is located about 100 feet south of Shoe Pond walkway, directly south of 500 Cummings Center.

On-site MBTA and CATV Buss Service

MBTA Commuter Rail service to Boston

Adjacent to Elliott Landing, Cummings Center offers regular on-site MBTA service throughout the day, as well as local CATV bus service to various North Shore locations. Commuters to Boston will enjoy the convenience of nearby commuter rail service, within steps of their front door.

Banking Offices

Both Marblehead Savings Bank and Peoples United Bank operate full-service banking offices directly next door at the nearest end of 100 Cummings Center. Walk there entirely under cover starting with the direct bridge from the third floor of the garage next to the elevator. Walk through 800 Cummings Center, and then into 100 Cummings Center by the second bridge and take the elevator to the ground level and both banks.

Nancy Crowley, DVM, a proud alumna of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, will very soon open her new office in Cummings Center. After more than 20 years service in Beverly, Dr. Crowley and her colleagues will relocate directly next door to Elliott Landing into Suite 99-X. The practice name is Beverly Animal Natural Health Center.
