New Neighbors Brunch
Luxury condominium buyers view progress of their new homes

Posted on June 26

Dear Elliott Landing residents,

A special "thank you" to all of our new Elliott Landing residents who were able to attend Saturday morning's session at the Elliott Landing Sales & Design Center. The meeting provided a much appreciated opportunity for me and several of my close colleagues to get to know many of you, and, hopefully, an opportunity for some of you to get to better know us and a few of your neighbors, as well.

The most substantial business discussion concerned our update as regards the unit delivery schedule. I told everyone on Saturday that rather than expecting to move in during October, it appears now, after we finally have all of the permitting and regulatory delays behind us, that November is a more realistic target date.

Our goal will be to complete all of the structure's common areas, as well as all other sheetrock walls and ceilings throughout the complex, plus all life-safety systems and requirements before any units are occupied. We shall also complete the exterior landscaping, pavement, concrete sidewalks, lighting, and building amenities. We will finish the sold homes first, which may mean some of the last residences will likely be temporarily left without carpeting and other finish details.

Currently there are 20 sold homes, with fully executed P&S agreements, and six additional homes "reserved." As we end the preconstruction period, sales are considerably ahead of what we earlier anticipated.

At some point this summer, we shall likely establish a regular newsletter to keep you all informed on upcoming developments and progress. Please do not hesitate to be in touch in the meantime, however, if we can be of help in any way.

Sincerely,

Bill Cummings
